The United States Women’s National Cricket Team

The United States women’s national team represents the country in the international cricket matches. So far, the team has not broken through into the ICC Women’s World Cup; the team finished fourth place in the group stages of the 2011 World Cup Qualifiers by winning only one game – the closest it came to qualifying. In April 2018, the team achieved full T20 International status after ICC Board announced to grant full status to all its members.

The United States participated in the 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier  alongside three other teams in the regional group. The USA team finished top of the table by winning five out of six games, and progressed to the fifth edition of the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.

The winners of the five regional groups entered the Qualifiers alongside the bottom two teams at the ICC Women's T20I Rankings on 30 November 2021. Seven teams entered the tournament: Bangladesh and Thailand automatically qualified, while Scotland (Europe), Papua New Guinea (East Asia-Pacific), Zimbabwe (Africa), the United States (Americas), and the UAE (Asia) qualified as winners of their respective regional groups. Ireland received automatic qualification from the EAP qualification. The United States finished last in the group stage by losing all three games it played. Ireland and Bangladesh qualified for the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup by finishing as the top two teams.

That said, the USA CRICKET WOMEN’S UNDER 19S SQUAD MADE THEIR FIRST APPEARANCE AT THE UNDER 19’s ICC WOMEN’s CRICKET WORLD CUP IN SOUTH AFRICA IN JANUARY 2023.
